Have a Picture Perfect Day

Today is the release day of the new Little Blue Button Stamps Rubber Stamp, Capture A Moment, and I have had the opportunity to play with it before hand (it's awesome being a DT). And as it is a rubber stamp I thought I should do some paper piecing, I love paper piecing as I can get some really beautiful patterns I wouldn't get any other way. But I hope you like my card and as always I have a copic colouring and card tutorial to match. And if you want to be a DT for Little Blue Button Stamps and get the opportunity to play with some not released stamps hop on over to the Little Blue Button Stamps blog as Olga is having a DT call, it is open until August 1st.

This time I decided to use my Silhouette, that have been standing on my table collecting dust, and cut out a pot of gold. As usually I have a companion video that showes how I coloured the image with my copics and how I put together the pot of gold. Enjoy!

#2 - Ohoy!

This Sunday I found my inspiration for the card walk through at The Greeting Farm's blog and their Farm Fresh Friday Challenge, which is Oh boy! Use the male characters from The Greeting Farm, so I'm using the digi Matey Ian. I also use the treasure map from Make It Crafty, hope you like my card, if you want to win it, hop on over to my youtube page and comment on the video and be a subscriber. (Tip to get to the video page press the little youtube icon on the video).

#1 - Opening

Over at The Greeting Farm Blog they are having their Farm Fresh Friday challenge which this time is "Move". I got so inspired by one of the DT cards that showed an opening gate, so I wanted to try it myself. The background and the door is embossed with embossing folders from Tim Holtz and then distressed with some distress inks. The Greeting Farm stamp I chosen comes from the Miss Anya Dressy set and is colored with my Copics. The sentiment stamp inside the door is from Simon Says Stamp. Hope you enjoy it!

#94-95 His and Hers - Day 2 - Second batch

One of the techniques shown in day 2 was using painted vellum, this seemed so fun so I needed to try it, with my own little twist that is. I wanted to use it behind a "die-cut", showing through. So I found this nice styled happy birthday in the silhouette store and I combined it with to different labels to get my "die-cuts". The stamps I used on the cards are from two different stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp. I'm not 100% satisfied with them, I think I would use a lighter cardstock for the fronts instead of the black if I would make similar cards. And the card that look blue on the photo is actually purple and pink.

#75 - Happy Birthday Book Matchbox

My bf's mother had her birthday and as we had booked tickets to go visit her and the rest of his family I thought I make something different than a card. I've been having a bunch of svg files from Svgcuts.com since before Christmas and with the Silouette arriving I could now cut them with a better accuracy than with the eCraft so I wanted to try making the book matchbox. I choose to make it a little bit more flowery. Hope you like it :)

#70-73 A blue friday

Yesterday when I made those cute little note cards I found this really cute lace in the package from Angie, but as I already had a color scheme for the note cards I had to choose another. But that lace just stuck in my mind and I knew I had to make some more cards. These cards are very similar to the note cards but I used some of the same cardstock as the card bases to simulate a table and used the lace as a "table cloth". The flowers is cut out on my Silhouette Cameo that I just love to bits, feeling I'm in for a long and steady relationship with this one ;)
