#100 - Ocelot, a cross-stitching

So this is the last project in the 100 project countdown, the idea was that I wasn't supposed to shop before I made 100 projects, well I failed miserably. But it was fun to somehow keep count on all the projects I made. So I might do something like this again, never not shopping tho. This project is a long going project that I started last fall. It was a challenging project but also very fun. Hope you like this Ocelot as much as I do.

#94-95 His and Hers - Day 2 - Second batch

One of the techniques shown in day 2 was using painted vellum, this seemed so fun so I needed to try it, with my own little twist that is. I wanted to use it behind a "die-cut", showing through. So I found this nice styled happy birthday in the silhouette store and I combined it with to different labels to get my "die-cuts". The stamps I used on the cards are from two different stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp. I'm not 100% satisfied with them, I think I would use a lighter cardstock for the fronts instead of the black if I would make similar cards. And the card that look blue on the photo is actually purple and pink.

#92-93 His and Her - Day 2

The His & Her Class is amazing, so many tutorials and so much inspiration. And it makes me create, I wanna be apart of it and the only way is to create. So I try to do at least two cards per day, one for him and one for her, incorporation one or several of the tips from that day. This is my first cards for day 2, they are happy birthday cards, hope you like them. The her card is created with materials from Simon Says Stamp Card Kit January and the male card is made from materials from the February kit.

#88 - 91 His & Hers

I never taken a craft course before, if you don't count the ones I had in school (ages 7-15). But when I found out that Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire held classes I knew I wanted to take one of theirs. Where at day 3 in the course which is called "His and Hers"(I'm a little behind already) but here is what I've done so far. And I must say that it's really worth it, you get so many tutorials and videos, I will definitely take more courses in the future and I really recommend this one.

#84-87 We all have a little devil inside of us.

Over at Facebook my friend Chelle has started a group called Cut Above the Rest, where we share our creations made with cuts from our electronic cutters. We also share our own designed cuts, and the polaroid frame that I used in this creation was made by Chelle, isn't it beautiful! I have paired it up with the SheDevil Anya digi from The Greeting Farm that I colored with my copics, and all the pattern papers are from Basic Grey Serenade Collection and Fancy Pants Park Bench Collection with I coincidentally found in two of the Simon Says Stamp Card Kits I've been getting for the past 6 month. So I'm also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Challange which is Anythings Goes. I also made a card construction video for the card, and as usual you can win the card, just b a follower here on this blog and comment on the post and I will draw a winner the 12th of May.

The products used is the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit for April 2013 and it's included stampset Happy Every Day, the Hexagon Border Die and also a little package die that came with the Christmas Card Kit. So finally got another card video made, this time took the inspiration from the Polkadoodle Challenge blog and their week 4 challenge "Monochrome". I used the Rainy Days digital stamp by Emma Canning, just fallen in love with her designs. I colored it with my spectrum noirs trying out some sepia color. Hope you like the card :)

#77 - You're special

Polkadoodle Challenge Blog has a new challenge "Stitching (Real or Faux) With Lace" and combined with the challenge over at Flat Friends Challenge Blog "Put a bling on it" I came up with this. The stamp is a free digi that I got from the Flat Friends Challenge Blog, I'm so in love with these stamps and as soon as my salary gets here I will buy a few. I doesn't show up so good on the picture, but for extra bling I have covered her shirt with Star Dust Stickles.

#76 - Transforming TP Roll

So youtube have been a big source for inspiration for me lately, been watching alot of craft videos and altering things has been something I wanted to do. So when I found Itripledogdareu's challenge I know I wanted to try. So I did and when looking at the finished product it was nothing like I thought it would turn out. But instead of just chucking it and not try again (as I usually would), I just stripped it from everything, painted it white with acrylic paint and started over. And this time it turned out just as I wanted :). If you want to know more watch the video.

#75 - Happy Birthday Book Matchbox

My bf's mother had her birthday and as we had booked tickets to go visit her and the rest of his family I thought I make something different than a card. I've been having a bunch of svg files from Svgcuts.com since before Christmas and with the Silouette arriving I could now cut them with a better accuracy than with the eCraft so I wanted to try making the book matchbox. I choose to make it a little bit more flowery. Hope you like it :)

#74 - Sending with love

With all of these giveaways I have been having I'm started to get an increasing collection of addresses, and as some people do win several times I have found that I really should save them somewhere. I tried a book, but I never finds it when I need it and always forget to write in it, and the order where horrendous. So seeing a recipe-box on pintrest I thought I could make this for myself as an address-box instead. To see the details and the project watch the video below.

#70-73 A blue friday

Yesterday when I made those cute little note cards I found this really cute lace in the package from Angie, but as I already had a color scheme for the note cards I had to choose another. But that lace just stuck in my mind and I knew I had to make some more cards. These cards are very similar to the note cards but I used some of the same cardstock as the card bases to simulate a table and used the lace as a "table cloth". The flowers is cut out on my Silhouette Cameo that I just love to bits, feeling I'm in for a long and steady relationship with this one ;)
