Bubbles!

Hi Guys!

This month challenge over at Make It Colourful is Bubbles! You can enter with any creation that contains bubbles and at least one Make It Crafty image, now come and join, you don't need to make a card, you can colour in any mediums you like and remember at Make It Colourful it's your creativity that counts. The card I made today is very simple, well the colouring might not be, but the card itself, and that is because I want the image and the challenge to take center stage. I've been wanting to make something with this adorable caterpillar for some time now. The colour-scheme is based on that light blue green to begin with, I just knew I wanted the colours to be as whimsical as I could get them, and then I just picked colours that had the same warmth to them, or in this case coldness. Fairies In A Bottle - Birthday Series #1

Hi Guys!

There is a new challenge over at Make It Colourful, and this month it's transparency! I've chosen to colour a bottle, and I really wanted to have something in it so I found some really cute fairies that I added. The things I thought about when colouring the bottle was the teeny tiny sliver at the edge of the bottle that I left blank to give the illusion of the glass and also using a white pen (in my case a posca) to add the shine to one part to make it look like the glass was reflecting some light.

Aurora Borealis

It's the 3rd of the month and it's time for a new challenge over at Make It Colourful, this month challenge is Aurora Australis or Aurora Borealis, aka Northern or Southern Lights. It's that magnificent light in the night sky, I have never seen them myself but it was oh so fun googling images to learn how they look.
