I have moved! And a wonderful bloghop!

Hi Everyone!

If you are seeing this you have an old link of mine! A little while ago I moved my blog to craftybitcreations.com.
Or more I've been using craftybitcreations.com for awhile but a couple of months ago I decided to take the jump from blogger to selfhosted wordpress!
I was reminded today that I've forgotten to write to you here to tell you, and as Make It Crafty has a wonderful release bloghop, you should really hop on over to my new blog and hop along!

Here is a little sneak peak of what you can find on today on my new blog!

So again, I will no longer be using this blog (which is craftybit.blogspot.com) so if you are looking for newer project from me update your bookmark, or link or how you want to save your favourite blog to craftybitcreations.com

Have fun hopping!

30 Day Coloring Challenge - What coloring means to me.

Hi Guys!

So crafting has always been my therapy, a way to keep my hands busy while letting my brain sort out my feelings and thoughts. I've always had health issues, and for a long time I thought they all were due to stress, emotional problems. But I got help and they figured out that my emotional issues wasn't that bad, that my health issues is due to something physical.

You might have noticed that I haven't been sharing my crafts as I've used to, well I've gotten sicker and the doctors still don't really know why. They have theories, theories that still needs to be verified and for the past five years I've gone through multiple doctors and even more theories that have proven not to pan out.

But I've still not given up, I'm still positive that one day they find what's wrong and how to treat it. And I believe that my crazy crafting is one of the big reasons why I'm still sane.

My crafting goes in waves, in periods and depending on how much I can sit at a table vs sitting in the couch I will do different kind of crafts. For the past couple of days tho I've been laying down, I got a spinal tap to check if I got any inflammation in my central nervous system, and 5-10% of the people who get it get's a tension headache that is only relieved by laying flat and it can take up to 10 days to go away. Of course I got it and I just can't craft laying down!

So I sneak a couple of minutes here and there sitting up and stitching. However I have taken in a couple of my copics and some pre printed/stamped images to play around with, mostly just playing around with skin figuring out how to teach it to you and as soon as I can sit back at my craft table I'll record that video that I promised to you for years!

Well today is 1st of march and the 1st day in The Daily Markers 30 Day Coloring Challenge, I've been participated every time and I really want to do it this time around too. Usually I say I'm supposed to do it every day, but with me being horizontal and also hoping to get away on that vacation I had planned for months, I'm not sure I will be able to, but I will try getting colouring everyday tho. I'll be sharing my coloring over at instagram as I've been doing for every coloring challenge.

For todays coloring I've used Mila's Love Heart, a digital stamp by Make It Crafty. A fun technique I love adding to pleated skirts is adding plaid textures, the way I do that is to first add the shadows with greys and after it dried I'm just adding the plaid lines, the grey beneath will also shadow your lines so then you don't have to worry about shading every itty bitty line.

Llama Tell You - One Layer Stamping

Hi Guys!

A long time awaited card video! I'm still struggling with my migraine but I've gotten one video done at least! Todays card is all about this adorable armadillo! I wanted to make a "one layer" card without masking, just stamp a little scene and then colour. When I do scenes I love to frame them with dies, so it's not a completely one layer card, but almost. For step by step on how I made this card, see the video below.
