Let's Have A Monster Party!

Hi Guys!

So I've been watching loads of art youtube, seeing these wonderful creators create something just starting with pen and paper is inspiring! One of the things that really caught my eye was different coloured outlines, and I thought Hey! I can do that with stamps.

So I started out with what is called No-Line Colouring, it's been around for a couple of years now and it's something my friend Zoe started. The idea is to stamp in a very light ink and when you colour the image the lines sort of disappear. But it was coloured lines we wanted, right? Well after colouring my images with my copics, I went over the lines with faber castell polychromos, if you have multiliners in different colours you could use that, but I sort of loved the softness of using the coloured pencils. You could also use ink in different colours, if you have that but then it would be harder to get all the differences, like having blue around the spots on the purple monster.

I do have a small warning tho, if you use the copic markers on top of the pencils you will "melt" them and that can add residue on your marker tips and you might need to change them. So I always do the coloured pencils last so I don't damage my copic nibs.
