I Miss You
With easter almost over I thought a miss you card would be nice, a card to send to those I didn't have the opportunity to meet during the holidays. And I thought Long Hair Jessica would be a great image to use on that card. I also got to play around with some new color combinations. One where I use E04 as the darkest shade on her skin and a completely new for her blondish/golden brown hair.

You Brighten My Day - Card Tutorial Video
I've been having so much fun playing with the april Simon Says Stamp card kit, I also wanted to play with some inks as I have a bunch of them and haven't really used them in a while. With the kit being all about light I thought the color combination of yellow, orange and red would fit perfectly.

Easter Bunny - Copic Coloring and Card Tutorial
Easter is creeping upon us, and I really wanted to use another one of the newly released easter stamps from Little Blue Button Stamps. This one is called Miss Lilly Easter Bunny, isn't she cute! This time I wanted to go with a little bit vintage feeling, and choose a more dusty color scheme and paired that with lace and pearls.

A Challenge To Boot
Over at the Make It Crafty facebook group, Zoe, the owner of Make It Crafty asked us how we found out about Make It Crafty. Janette started talking about her first stamp, Boot House, that she loved but still hadn't colored, and a challenge was born. I always loved that stamp but as Janette I never really gotten it out to color. The stamp is available both as rubber and digi and part of the challenge was to color it in the same size. So here is mine, I even made it into a card.

Fluttering hearts
After finishing the kitten yesterday I just had to do the free card kit that came with this months The World of Cross Stitch. This month it's actually two cards, two beautiful butterflies designed by Madeleine Floyd. They came with two card bases but I felt they where a little plain. So I stamped them with Tim Holtz Papillon Stamp with Stormy Sky Distress Ink, I really like how they turned out.

A Little Bird Told Me
When I saw this cutie I knew I just needed to stitch him, it took me a whole month before I actually sat down and started him. He was a free kit with The World of Cross Stitching magazine, issue 214. I really love the card base that came with it, so I only stitched him up and mounted him in it.
