#12 - Scary White - Make It Crafty

So I've been coloring scenes like crazy this week, but I've also been sick, and when I'm sick I doubt myself alot! So nothing I've done has been on par. So in the end I started coloring something I was more comfortable with, some cute characters. I've been coloring alot of halloween characters as it's coming up to halloween soon, but they all been black and some sort of red and I wanted to try something new. So I took this cute Mini Dracula and I colored him up in grey and purple, btw if you love him as much as I do you can get him for only a dollar, only this month. #11 - Spooky - Make It Crafty

I have the most wonderful of news! I got chosen to the be apart of the Make It Crafty Facebook Design Team! I totally love Make It Crafty stamps and I got my first ones a couple of years ago. I entered just for fun, didn't think I would be picked. As my first project I thought I would give the Coloring Challenge that they have over on the Make It Colorful page, this month they have an easy and a hard challenge. The easy challenge is to use orange and black and the hard challenge is to make a spooky background. Make It Crafty have loads of wonderful background stamps and have chosen to use Eerie Scene Digi Stamp where I only used the moon and the bats and Spooky Graveyard Digi Stamp. I had a wonderful time arranging the stamps and even more coloring them. Hope you like the card.

#8-10 Happy Monzta Halloween

When I got the digis from last post I got the whole collection, so I thought it would be great to make another series of card with the rest of the Make It Crafty Monzta Galz and Monzta Boyz. For this time I played with patterns, both on the Medusa's body and snakes but also on the jacket of the headless horseman. I really loved creating these cards and hope you like them too.

#5-7 Monzta Fun - Make It Crafty

So I had a play with my Make It Crafty digis again, this time I got some Monzta Galz and Boyz out. Aren't they cute! On the Make It Crafty facebook page they had a coloring challenge, coloring Smooth Gradients, they had it in three variations, Easy (gradients in one color, light to dark), Medium (gradients from one color to another in the same color family ex. red to yellow) and Hard (gradients going from a cold color to a warm, ex blue to red). I did enter for the Medium challenge, and my challenge entry was what got me inspired for the color scheme for these cards. I did start playing with Mini Gothilia and some how wanted to make her from fire, had so much fun and then decided to color up Mini Morticia and Mini Dracula with the same colors to get a cohesive card serie. Hope you like them!

#3-4 Alice goes Steampunk - Make It Crafty

When I saw these stamps over at Make It Crafty I just fell in love completely, I'm an avid Alice in Wonderland fan and steampunk is the coolest, and these stamps have it all. As the Steampunk Spells collection from Graphic 45 had arrived on my doorstep recently I thought that those papers should fit perfectly with these stamps. And as it happens the Make It Crafty page over at facebook is holding a dt call, and I thought I would try out for it and if you love these stamps just much as I do, why don't you try out you too?

#2 Mini Album - French Country - Graphic 45

So been a little quiet here, life is kicking my butt but I'll be back on track in no time. Well I have been crafting, not as much as I wanted but anyway. Last summer when we (my boyfriend and I) were visiting his parents they were dog sitting this lovely mini poodle, Nalle. I took a lot of pictures and I finally got round making an album. I made it from Graphic 45's French Country Collection. Hope you like it!

#1 - Everything Flower

When I tallied together my last shopping sprees I was stunned, I hadn't realized that I had shopped that much! So well something had to be done, so I now have a shopping blockade. This shopping blockade comes with a set of rules and a counter.

I'm doing a 50 project challenge, I have to do 50 projects before shopping. A card counts as a project only if it comes with a video (as that takes enough time), a series of cards/tags can count as a project if they are four or more. All rest of things counts as project on their own.

I have 3 exceptions to the no buying rule:

1. The subscriptions I already have is allowed to carry on(Silhoutte Store, The World of Cross Stitching Magazine and Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kit).
2. If I run out of Adhesives, Cardboard or basic Cardstock(black, craft and white) I'm allowed to restock those items.
3. I have put away money to buy a 72 pen set of copics which is planned for October, if I haven't finished the challenge by then I'm allowed to order that and that alone.

I hope that you will help me keep strong and not buy anything. If you want to follow my progress and look at the projects I do, every post I do for this challenge will be tagged "Shopping Blockade".

Now when that is over with, lets start with the first project. This is a card, but I made a Color Me Happy video while creating it so it does count.
